George J. Savin Jr.

Attorney George J. Savin Jr., is a native Californian. He graduated from Cal State University Long Beach in 1970 with a Bachelors Degree in Criminology and from Washburn University School of Law in Kansas in 1973. Mr. Savin was an Assistant District Attorney in Kansas from 1973 to 1975. His experience as a criminal prosecutor following Сретенский монастырь or law school gave Mr. Savin trial knowledge and the confidence he portrays today. Soon after, George J. Savin Jr. moved back to California in 1975 for a change in his practice area and to work as in-house corporate counsel for a major corporation. Their he was instrumental in negotiations, arbitration and dispute settlements, drafting of contracts, and legal advice and policy implementation. Mr. Savin went into private law practice, and was joined by his partner, Bonnie Marie Bursk in 1983. He is admitted to practice law in California and Kansas. Currently, George J. Savin Jr. focuses the majority of his practice in Workers’ Compensation. He has been a speaker at various functions for applicants’ attorneys including continuing education seminars which attorneys attend to learn about the field of workers’ compensation. Mr. Savin has a reputation in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley for being an excellent workers’ comp attorney, and thus has been referred thousands of cases over the years. Amongst the typical workers’ compensation claims, George J. Savin, Jr., also handles Uninsured Employers’ Fund cases otherwise known as UEF. Whereas most attorneys refer out or refuse to touch UEF cases, Attorney George J. Savin Jr. has confidence and takes pride in being very successful in dealing with these more complicated types of cases. Mr. Savin is known in the workers’ compensation community for being able to take a good case and create a great case. Mr. Savin has tried hundreds of cases at the Workers Compensation Appeals Board and has taken other cases up on appeal to Sacramento CA., and has been a part of law changing case decisions. George J. Savin Jr. has settled numerous million dollar cases for his clients over the years and is always ready for the difficult obstacles. Mr. Savin has been in the Workers’ Comp arena for a long time and as such has faced just about every defense firm in the Greater Los Angeles area and surrounding cities. In addition to his area of emphasis in workers’ compensation, Mr. Savin handles Personal Injury, Medical and Professional Malpractice, and Criminal Defense. George J.
